Ring of Fire

Happy Holidays!  I haven't posted in a long time - our lives took a turn towards busy!  Wyatt and Owen are extremely excited about Christmas.  And we are looking forward to a fun day with them.  Wyatt, true to form, is asking for a Ring of Fire this year.  I assumed that he meant some sort of toy but when I asked him to explain it, he replied, "you know, like the kind you drive a motorcycle through...."  Wyatt doesn't have a motorcycle.  In fact, he can't even ride his bike without training wheels yet. So not sure that a Ring of Fire would be purposeful here?  I think his request is so very Wyatt and  I know he will be looking for it tomorrow morning.  So, could be a sign that he is very creative and enjoys the circus.  Or, maybe we spoil him so much that we've limited his options for his list?  I am going to go with the creative/circus thing.  I think Steve might sway to the other direction.

Wyatt is doing well.  He's had a rough school year, lots of colds this year.  I think that Owen might be a contributing factor as he is now in preschool a few days a week.  But Wyatt is muscling through and it doesn't seem to slow him down much.   Even though it's December, I still have a hard time believing he is actually in kindergarten.   He is starting to read!!!!
